JBR Vineyards and Winery
Current Client - Since July 2022
Client is looking for process improvement ideas for their family business. We have produced process flow diagrams and developed process improvement ideas that will both improve timeliness but mitigate the risk of moving cases of wine in the bottling area.
Renah Appliance Repair
Current Client - Since July 2022
Client is looking to scale their 20+ year old business in the Greater NYC area. Issues include lack of clear financial information and staff turnover. Since engaging, we have built detailed "pro-forma" financial statements for Jan-June 2022 to understand financial performance and areas of spending, prepared a 12 month forecast (July 2022-June 2023), analyzed spending areas and debt, and provided advice on migrating debt to lower interest rates. We are also working with Renah to improve their market visibility through resolving an issue with their Google Business Profile and have provided assistance with recruiting and evaluating potential new hires.
Past Clients
Delaware Transit
Worked on two discrete projects for the Delaware bus system. Project Number one was an analysis of the roles, responsibilities and costs of their finance department, including benchmarking against other organizations. Output was a new organization chart and plan for reorganizing the department. Project Number two was a detailed examination of their "money rooms" throughout the state that count the funds received daily from each bus and make deposits. Output was a documentation of the process and improvement recommendations from both a process and physical layout perspective.
American Red Cross
Combination of detailed process improvement and project management for the implementation of a new procurement technology tool. This implementation resulted in the business case for the tool achieving over a 5 time return on cost in only 2.5 years. Additional work was done in both specific cost reduction and serving in an interim capacity in procurement.
Rural Pennsylvania Hospital
Served as the Interim IT Director and conducted a detailed Technology Assessment to more quickly prepare the new leader for improving the IT operations. Outputs included a detailed Stakeholder assessment with areas for improvement in the department as well as reducing the number of outstanding helpdesk tickets to from several hundred that were several years old to a manageable number.
Firespring
Assisted a new small business during their first nine months of operation on operations, finance and building sales. Immediate outcome was the highest first-year sales record for a 300+ franchise system. Long-term output is a successful, highly rated organization with operations in many states in the U.S.
